When preparing to paint the exterior of any structure, open areas, holes and cracks are filled and repaired.  Cracks behind window sills and areas such as the corners of the building are filled with putty or caulking.  This process better insulates the interior of your home or business against outside extremes.  
   When we apply an elastomeric roof coating, the top coat of the system is usually bright white (unless tinting of the coating is requested on a residential roof) and a white (or light colored) surface will reflect the sun's energy up into the atmosphere and will no longer be absorbed into your roof, nor transferred into your home or business.
   The combination of the two can cut your cooling costs down by as much as 20 percent!
